Aggregate page-view measurement
We record aggregate daily page-view totals for selected pages across our two domains. From 14 September 2026, private reports also include separate daily breakdowns of approximate country, region and city where supplied by our hosting provider, referring website, domain visited, and broad device, browser and operating-system categories. These statistics help us understand readership and improve the publication.
We do not store IP addresses, exact coordinates, visitor identifiers, full referring URLs or raw user-agent strings in these reports. Referral paths and query strings are removed before transmission. We do not combine the breakdowns into individual visitor histories or sell the data. Location estimates may reflect a VPN or network provider and may be unavailable. A missing referrer does not prove that a visit was direct.
Daily aggregate reports are retained for the life of the page and are available only to site administrators. Repeat visits count again; totals are not unique visitors. Recognisable automated requests are excluded, but automated traffic cannot be completely ruled out. Historical totals do not have these breakdowns.
This aggregate counter uses no cookies or visitor tracking storage. It is separate from optional Google Analytics described below. You may turn it off below; only your opt-out preference is saved in this browser. Set the preference separately on each domain and browser you use. We also respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.
Optional Google Analytics
If you accept analytics using the on-screen choice, Google Analytics measures visits across both domains, including pages viewed, referral sources, device/browser information and approximate country, region and city. Google uses the connection IP address to derive approximate geography, then discards it rather than storing it in Analytics. Location is not an exact address and may be inaccurate or unavailable.
Google Analytics loads only after acceptance. It uses first-party cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions; we limit cookie duration to 180 days without extending it on each visit. We do not enable advertising personalization or Google Signals. Analytics does not tell us your name or identify an employer. We remove URL query strings and fragments, and send only the origin of referring websites. Reports are private to authorized account administrators. Google may process data internationally under its applicable processing terms.
You can reject or withdraw consent at any time using “Analytics preferences” below. Withdrawing stops future Google measurement and clears our Google Analytics cookies on this domain. Your preference is remembered for 180 days and is separate for each browser and domain. Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control and the aggregate-counter opt-out also prevent Google Analytics from loading. Refusing does not restrict access to the site.
Google event and user data follows the property retention setting; standard aggregate reports can be retained longer. Optional Analytics totals differ from the raw counter and from Google Search clicks, and cannot reconstruct historical location data. Email submissions
Case suggestions, corrections and editorial enquiries can be sent to caseoutcomesinfo@gmail.com. Your message includes your email address, any sender name and the information you choose to send. Messages are delivered to the editorial Gmail mailbox through your email provider.
Please send public source links and only the information needed to explain your suggestion. Do not send privileged correspondence or confidential evidence.
Editorial review
Messages are used to assess suggested cases, check corrections and respond where appropriate. Sending an email does not automatically publish your message, name or address on the website.
The website’s online submission form is disabled. Email messages are separate from the website’s hosted submission database.
Questions about your message
Contact the same editorial address with any question about information you have sent, including a request to correct or delete it.
Hosting and access
The case catalogue is publicly accessible. Hosting providers may process technical request information needed to deliver and secure the service. The application does not add advertising trackers or a marketing mailing list.
